| Sylvox is
a roots based concept band comprised of three experienced musicians
who came together in the fall of 2011 after intially meeting at
jam nights in clubs on the coast of North Carolina. Sylvox has a
unique hard driving sound with an emphasis on spontaneity and a
disdain for cliches. The band strives to craft its own versions
of universal roots based standards while avoiding the stale trappings
of "jukebox" recreations. Sylvox prefers to be noted for
offering no hairdos, no spandex, no posers, and no apologies.
